Paignton is in an area called Torbay, which is delightfully situated on the South coast, but faces East, thus it is protected from the prevailing South West air stream and yet warmed by the Gulf Stream. Not without reason is it known as the English Riviera!
The climate in South Devon is mild, even out of season, so Paignton is an ideal destination to enjoy a break all year round.
We are in a central, convenient location in Paignton, less than 10 minutes walk from either Paignton or Goodrington train stations.
At the end of the driveway on either side of the road are bus stops offering services to Torquay (North) or Brixham (South). The north-bound bus stop is called “The Big Tree (N-Bound)” and the south-bound bus stop is called “Opposite Big Tree”.

If you do wish to bring your car, free parking (1 vehicle per flat) is available at Big Tree.
We are also just a very short (five minute) level walk from Torbay leisure centre.
The centre hosts many big events throughout the year and Big Tree is ideally located. We are the closest self-catering accommodation to the centre

Big Tree Holiday Flats are generally suitable for those with special accessibility requirements. We have ground floor flats with ramped access available but we do not have any flats with specific disabled facilities. Please see our Access Statement for full details.
